Santa’s Magical Village at Castlecomer Discovery Park

We’re writing from Santa’s Magical Village at Castlecomer Discovery Park, where we’re delighted to be returning for our third year running. Over the past few years, it’s been an absolute joy to welcome so many wonderful groups, families, and schools through our doors — and to see the smiles, excitement, and Christmas magic come alive for everyone who visits.

This year, we’ll again be opening our doors for Sensory Days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. These quieter sessions are designed to be calm, inclusive, and accessible for children and adults who benefit from a gentler festive experience.

Last year, we were lucky to have a number of special schools and support groups join us for a visit — many enjoyed lunch in our café or restaurant before or after meeting Santa, and it truly became one of the highlights of our Christmas season.

We wanted to make sure that all schools and centres in the wider area knew about these Sensory Days this year, so that everyone has the chance to visit Santa in Castlecomer if they wish.
